DON’T NOD Montréal, the producer of the Life is Strange game series, has announced a new game project, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. According to the released trailer, the game seems to have an atmosphere that reflects the 90s Lo-Fi summer aesthetic.
New game from the makers of Life is Strange – Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
Lost Records, the new game from the writers of Life is Strange: Bloom & Rage tells a story set in the summer of 1995 in the fictional town of Velvet Cove. The game follows the story of four high school friends, Swann, Nora, Autumn and Kat.
These four friends became best friends while spending time making music. But after an event that changed the course of their lives, the silence between them lasted for 27 years. Finally, they reunite to face dark secrets.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage’s trailer shows the perspective of the main character, Swann, through a 90s camera, as he prepares for his last summer in Velvet Cove. The trailer also gives a glimpse of the play areas players will explore and the characters they will meet. The first part of the game will be released in two parts, allowing players to discuss their thoughts and theories about Velvet Cove and their four high school friends.
Characters such as Swann, Nora, Autumn and Kat each have their own personality traits. Nora is rebellious, eccentric and full of energy, while Autumn is the thoughtful and charismatic group leader. Swann’s other friend Kat is pragmatic, strong-willed and mysterious. The game will also feature a soundtrack that includes original tracks as well as specially composed and licensed music. We can actually call this a new Life is Strange game.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be released on PC, Xbox Series X and S, and PlayStation 5 in late 2024. What do you think about the new game from the makers of Life is Strange? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
