Electronics and peripherals giant Logitech has introduced a groundbreaking new mouse model in the world of gaming hardware. This new wireless gaming mouse, called the Pro X2 Superstrike, stands out with its tactile system, replacing mechanical switches, and its quick trigger feature.
Logitech Pro X2 Superstrike Announced
Expected to launch early next year with a price tag of $180, the Pro X2 Superstrike utilizes a new analog system Logitech calls HITS (Haptic Inductive Trigger System).

This system allows the mouse to offer a press travel of just 0.6 mm for the main buttons, reducing latency to as little as 30 milliseconds. The mouse also features 10 customizable trigger points.
The quick trigger feature, typically found on gaming keyboards, is making its way into a mouse for the first time. This technology allows the sensor to reset immediately when you lightly press and release the button.
This allows for a new click to be detected with virtually no pressure on the button, allowing gamers to react much faster. The Superstrike features five different quick trigger reset points, which can be adjusted using Logitech’s G Hub software.
Weighing 65 grams, the mouse features the same Hero 2 sensor used in Logitech’s current Pro X series. It also offers a wireless report rate of up to 8,000 Hz via the included Lightspeed USB-A receiver. This higher report rate requires the use of G Hub software.
Logitech also announced a new mouse, the Superlight 2C. This model is designed as a more compact version of the Superlight 2. At 10 percent lighter (51 grams) and 5 percent smaller, it appeals to gamers who find standard mice too large. The Superlight 2C will be available on October 21st for $160.
