Lotus continues its adventure in the all-electric world with updates to both its electric models, the Emeya sedan and the Eletre SUV. The automaker has officially launched the updated models, which feature minor but significant changes to the exterior and interior design, as well as improvements to some key components. Here are the details.
The Lotus Eletre SUV is sportier and more luxurious
The updated Lotus Eletre SUV maintains the bold, consistent design of its predecessor. The most notable exterior change is the return of the brand logos to black. All Eletre trim levels come standard with 22-inch 10-spoke gray forged wheels, which add a sportier look to the vehicle. The Eletre 600 and 600 SE models feature fixed 6-piston front brake calipers, while the top-of-the-line 900 model is equipped with a high-performance 10-piston carbon-ceramic braking system.

Interior design remains largely unchanged. However, Lotus has enhanced the feature list across the various trim levels. The 600 and 600 SE models now come standard with 12-way adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, and a 15-speaker KEF Premium sound system.
The 600 SE adds additional luxury features such as a smart panoramic sunroof, 20-way adjustable front seats, a massage function, and active rear-wheel steering. The flagship 900 model takes things to the next level with an intelligent active skid control system.
In terms of powertrain, the Eletre’s options continue to be impressive. The 600 and 600 SE models feature a dual-motor all-wheel drive system producing a total of 603 horsepower (450 kW) and 710 Nm of torque. These versions accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. Powered by a 112 kWh battery, these models offer a range of 650 km according to CLTC standards.
The most powerful Eletre 900 model features a more powerful dual-motor setup, producing 905 horsepower (675 kW) and 985 Nm of torque. This version, coupled with a two-speed transmission, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.95 seconds and, with its 112 kWh battery, provides a 560 km CLTC range.
The Lotus Emeya Sedan is more powerful
Like its SUV sibling, the Emeya sedan largely retains its striking exterior design. All Emeya models now come standard with 21-inch 10-spoke gray forged wheels. Brake systems are similar to the Eletre, with the 600 and 600 SE models featuring 6-piston fixed front calipers, while the 900 model features 10-piston carbon-ceramic brakes.

The interior retains the 15.1-inch OLED central display and the 55-inch augmented reality head-up display (HUD), which displays important information such as road data and navigation directly in front of drivers.
Powertrain options are also consistent. All Emeya models utilize a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The 600 and 600 SE versions produce 603 horsepower (450 kW) and 710 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.15 seconds. Powered by a 102 kWh battery, these models have a CLTC range of 585 km.
The top-of-the-line 900 model produces 905 horsepower (675 kW) and 985 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds. This version also offers a CLTC range of 530 km with its 102 kWh battery.
Starting prices for the renewed electric cars in the Chinese market were announced as €63,800 for the Emeya 600 and €66,200 for the Eletre 600. Pricing information for other markets has not yet been announced.
