macOS Tahoe 26 beta 2 version is released
macOS Tahoe 26 draws attention with its new interface design called “Liquid Glass” throughout the system. This design language is based on dynamic transparency effects created by light and color refractions in the interface. In addition to this change in the visual structure of the system, many new functions are also meeting with users.

Among the innovations coming to Mac are a more advanced Spotlight search engine with Live Activities, clipboard history and Shortcuts integration. In addition, new features that offer live translation support for Messages, FaceTime and phone calls are also available on the system.
The Journal application, which macOS users have been waiting for a long time, is also included in this version. In addition, Apple is bringing the new Games app, specially designed to bring the gaming experience to a more central point, with the system.
Another notable feature in the developer beta is a standalone Phone app developed specifically for Mac. With this app, phone calls can be managed more integratedly via Mac.
Apple plans to release public beta versions next month. In the statement made during WWDC25, it was stated that public beta tests will start after developer versions. Public beta versions are usually released simultaneously with the third or fourth versions of developer betas.
The full list of changes made to the system in the beta 2 version has not yet been shared. So far, only general improvements and bug fixes for system stability and performance have been detected.
