Oppo, making ambitious strides in mobile photography, is raising the bar with its highly anticipated flagship, the Find X9 Pro. According to a statement on Weibo by Zhou Yibao, the company’s Find series product manager, the phone will also come with a magnetic camera kit developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. The most striking aspect of this accessory is that it marks the first time a Pro model has introduced a feature previously exclusive to the Ultra models. Here are the details.
Find X9 Pro Gets a Magnetic Camera Kit
Unlike other brands’ snap-on accessories, Oppo’s system is designed to be quickly attached and detached with a magnet. This allows users to easily transition from standard shooting to advanced photography setups. Leaked concept images show a Hasselblad camera grip with additional optics. However, Yibao stated that the retail version will differ from the prototype.

According to initial details, this kit will add additional lenses to the Find X9 Pro’s 200MP telephoto camera. This additional lens, combined with the phone’s own 3x optical zoom, could bring its focal length to the level of rivals like the Vivo X200 Ultra. This also signals a shift in Oppo’s strategy. The Find X9 Pro replaces the dual telephoto camera setup of its predecessor, the Find X8 Pro, with a single, high-quality sensor and external optical support.
The Find X9 series is expected to be introduced later this year. However, Oppo hasn’t announced whether the Hasselblad kit will be available globally. If the kit goes on sale globally, the Find X9 Pro could be one of the most ambitious camera phones of 2025 for photography enthusiasts who aren’t content with just software tricks.
