Remedy Entertainment’s sales fell short of expectations in the third quarter of 2025. Financial reports indicate a challenging period, particularly due to the failure of FBC: Firebreak. Despite this, the Finnish studio is ambitious about achieving “significant commercial success” by 2030.
Remedy Entertainment Sales and the FBC: Firebreak Impact
Remedy Entertainment released its Q3 2025 financial report this morning. The report contained some unfavorable news for the studio. Earlier this month, CEO Tero Virtala resigned after informing investors that FBC: Firebreak was a failure. The company celebrated its 30th anniversary in the quarter, but the financial indicators were quite negative.

The company’s cash flow rose to €11.3 million (previously €8.0 million). However, interim CEO Markus Mäki reassured investors and fans. Mäki stated that despite the difficulties experienced with FBC: Firebreak, other projects were progressing according to plan. He also said, “We’re not satisfied with our recent financial performance, but we’re confident we’ll return to profitability.”
Remedy has set ambitious financial targets for the future. The company aims to double last year’s revenue by 2027. After this milestone, it plans to maintain sustained growth. Additionally, achieving an EBITDA margin of at least 30% by 2027 is among its goals.
