Nintendo is bringing a fresh twist to the Mushroom Kingdom with a Mario claymation show premiering on YouTube. Each episode will last just one minute, designed to be bright, simple, and perfect for kids while still carrying the charm long-time fans might enjoy.
Mario claymation show anchors the My Mario push

The short-form series will debut alongside a new wave of kid-focused products under the “My Mario” label. This collection blends toys, books, and clothing with interactive elements, expanding Mario’s reach beyond games.
Wooden amiibo blocks lead the lineup
One standout from the My Mario range is a set of wooden blocks that double as amiibo figures. Priced at roughly $135, the set includes:
- Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi figures
- Iconic Mushroom Kingdom props like a Mushroom and a Fire Flower
These amiibo-compatible blocks work in supported Switch games, adding extra value for collectors and players alike.
More than toys, an interactive app experience
Nintendo is also launching a My Mario app for smartphones and Switch. Similar to the Mario 64 start menu, it lets users play with Mario’s face in 2D. The app will arrive in Japan on August 26, followed by the full product line on August 28. A global rollout is planned for early 2026.
Mario claymation show may appeal to collectors, too
While the My Mario line targets young audiences, its mix of high-quality figures, unique designs, and Nintendo branding could make certain pieces sought-after collectibles. The wooden amiibo blocks, in particular, seem likely to gain value.
Celebrations and future Mario plans
The Mario claymation show also helps set the stage for upcoming milestones. The original Super Mario Bros. turns 40 on September 13, and the next Mario movie possibly titled Super Mario World is scheduled for April 3, 2026. Nintendo appears ready to keep Mario in the spotlight well beyond this anniversary year.
