Captain America 4, Fantastic Four, and more Marvel movies was delayed
According to a blog post, Marvel has decided to review three Phase 5 films and three Phase 6 films. For example, Captain America 4: Brave New World, originally planned for May 3, 2024, has been postponed to July 26, 2024. This delay, in turn, led to Thunderbolts being pushed back to December 20, 2024.
Another rescheduling occurred for the Blade film. Blade, starring Mahershala Ali, has been moved to February 14, 2025. The new project for the Fantastic Four has been postponed to May 2, 2025. Marvel aims to bring back beloved characters in this film with an exciting narrative.
One of the most significant changes in the Avengers world is the release of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty after Fantastic Four. Additionally, the release of Avengers: Secret Wars has been pushed to May 1, 2026.
In addition to all these projects, the release date for Deadpool 3 has been moved up. The superhero film, starring Ryan Reynolds, which broke box office records with its first two installments, will now premiere on May 3, 2024, instead of November 8, 2024. Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine in the new film.
The delays in the MCU films may disappoint fans, but it is important to remember that many Marvel TV series are currently in development. For example, Secret Invasion will premiere on June 21, and Loki Season 2 will be released on October 6.
