MediaTek introduced its new processor in China today. The Dimensity 7200 Ultra, a recent addition to the Dimensity family, showcases its capabilities for high-end devices. Manufactured using a 4nm architecture, the Dimensity 7200 Ultra is designed as an octa-core processor. It features two Cortex-A715 cores running at 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A510 cores running at 2.0 GHz. In terms of graphics, the 7200 Ultra utilizes the Mali-G610 GPU.
The Dimensity 7200 Ultra offers support for both LPDDR5 and LPDDR4x RAM memory, which enables it to provide the capability for recording 4K video at 30 FPS. Additionally, it supports cameras with resolutions of up to 200 megapixels for capturing high-quality images and videos.
In addition to these features, the Dimensity 7200 Ultra also supports Full HD+ displays with a 144Hz refresh rate, 14-bit HDR image support, and 5G connectivity. Furthermore, it is equipped with the 5th generation MediaTek APU 650, which enhances its AI and machine learning capabilities.
