Meizu 22 has been introduced with its affordable price

Meizu, a leading player in the phone market, has officially introduced its latest flagship model, the Meizu 22. The device stands out with its boundary-pushing display technology.

The Meizu 22 features a 6.3-inch LTPO panel with a 1.5K resolution and a variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz, capable of reaching a record-breaking native peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The company emphasizes that it has set a new standard in design by using equal and symmetrical bezels measuring just 1.2 mm thick on all four sides. Furthermore, its hardware-level “RuRan Eye Care Technology,” which offers a blue light filter and full-range DC dimming, promises superior comfort even during extended use.

What does the Meizu 22 offer?

At the heart of the Meizu 22 lies a performance monster powered by the 4th Generation Snapdragon 8s chipset. To keep this high power output cool, a large 4500 mm² VC liquid cooling system is used. The phone, which also boasts a significant photography experience, offers a versatile camera setup:

Main Camera: A large 50MP 1/1.3-inch OV50H sensor with OIS.
Ultra Wide Angle: A 50MP camera capable of macro shooting from 2.5cm.
Periscope Telephoto: A 50MP IMX882 sensor lens with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and telephoto macro shooting from 15cm.
Front Camera: A 50MP sensor for high-resolution selfies.

On the software front, the Meizu 22, which comes with Flyme AIOS 2, focuses on artificial intelligence. It offers smart features such as one-click removal of people from photos, anti-glare, AI Drawing, and filters. Additionally, ecosystem solutions such as Flyme Auto 2, which provides full vehicle integration, and Flyme Link, which connects devices, are available.

The device can quickly charge its massive 5500mAh battery with 80W wired and 66W wireless charging. Featuring all flagship-level hardware, including IP66 and IP68 dust and water resistance certifications, an X-axis linear motor for enhanced haptic feedback, an infrared transmitter, and a UWB digital key, the Meizu 22 will be available in both the standard version and a specially themed Return to China Flagship Limited Edition collector’s edition.
