Konami’s highly anticipated remake project Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has finally been released. The game, which was shown at Sony’s State of Play event, will be available starting August 28, 2025.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is coming on August 28
The final details about Snake Eater were given during the State of Play broadcast. Accordingly, it was reported that a surprising crossover will be made with PlayStation’s iconic game Ape Escape. The encrypted “And More” message showed that this crossover will expand even further.
Despite the excitement created by the game’s renewed visuals, it should be noted that some reviews were negative. First impressions showed that Metal Gear Solid Delta remained very loyal to the original production and missed opportunities to modernize some aspects.
This version of Metal Gear Solid 3 is said to have been redesigned with modern graphics and system improvements while preserving the original story and gameplay mechanics. The goal is to provide players with a more immersive experience.
Metal Gear Solid Delta draws attention with its graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. The game offers two different modes: Fidelity Mode, which runs at 30 FPS, and Performance Mode, which offers 60 FPS performance. Accordingly, the game’s control scheme has also been renewed. Players will be able to play the game as a modern TPS (Third Person Shooter) or experience it with classic MGS3 controls.
