The latest patch for Metal Gear Solid Delta isn’t massive, but it’s already smoothing out the rough edges and teasing more to come.
Metal Gear Solid Delta hits 1 million, gets version 1.1.3

Less than two weeks after launch, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has cleared 1 million units sold across consoles and PC. To mark the milestone, Konami has pushed out a 1.1.3 update on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a Steam patch “coming soon.”
The highlight? Players can now invert their horizontal camera controls. This small but long-requested tweak arrives alongside texture updates, minor bug fixes, and a resolved issue that blocked GA-KO collectors from getting their reward.
What Konami is working on next
While this update focuses on fixes, Konami’s got a longer list of tweaks in the pipeline. Here’s what’s being explored:
- Ultrawide support (21:9 aspect ratio) on Steam cutscenes excluded
- System specs checker for Steam users
- Graphics mode selector for PS5 Pro
- General performance stability across all platforms
Those with ultrawide monitors should see better support soon, though demo scenes will remain locked to 16:9. And PS5 Pro players may eventually gain the ability to choose between resolution and performance, a current gap in that version.
Metal Gear Solid Delta still builds on its legacy
The game has kept most of the original voice work from Metal Gear Solid 3, with David Hayter and Lori Alan both celebrating the launch. Hayter even hinted at wanting to return to the role with “two decades of experience” behind him.
Meanwhile, a new multiplayer mode, Fox Hunt, is coming this fall. It’s a hide-and-seek twist, but don’t expect cross-play support at launch.
Konami is keeping the fixes coming
This update may be smaller than the August patch, but it shows Konami is still paying attention. With more updates on the horizon and a committed player base behind it, Metal Gear Solid Delta might be one of the few remakes that continues to evolve post-launch without losing its roots.
