In recent weeks, Microsoft has been quite active regarding Xbox Game Pass. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has objected to the company’s Game Pass price increases and expressed concerns about past promises. Amid these developments, the software giant Microsoft is considering offering new subscription models for Xbox Game Pass.
One of the new Game Pass models will be cloud-based
According to Windows Central, Microsoft plans to add new subscription options with different features to Xbox Game Pass. Currently, there are four Game Pass options available to consumers: Standard Game Pass, Game Pass Core, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass. However, if Microsoft proceeds with its plans, two new Xbox Game Pass subscriptions could be added to this list.
One of the new subscription options will allow users to play games exclusively via the cloud. Users with a suitable internet connection and system will be able to play their games through the cloud. Although this model is expected to be the most affordable subscription option, it is currently unclear whether it will be available in Turkey.
Such a move was anticipated following the recent introduction of Game Pass for Amazon Fire Stick TV. However, Microsoft sources have not yet provided any information about the other subscription model.
