Hogwarts Legacy, which has become a favorite among PC gamers, will begin offering official mod support. Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software announced that the new update will open the doors to customization and new adventures for the game. So when is this support coming? Details are in our news…
Hogwarts Legacy gets mod support on January 30th: New update announced!
First of all, with the update, players can easily add and remove mods on Steam and the Epic Games Store via the mod browser. In addition, with the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, which can be downloaded for free, many customizations such as adding new skins to characters, creating special quests, and designing dungeons will be possible.
In this process, Avalanche Software will collaborate with CurseForge, an official platform for mods. Players will be able to upload their mods to this platform and share them with other users. Mods that expand character customization options and introduce a new dungeon will be available at launch.
By the way, mod support will only be available for PC for now. It has not yet been announced whether similar support is planned for consoles. On the other hand, rumors are also circulating about the Definitive Edition of Hogwarts Legacy. It is rumored that this release could further enrich the game with 10-15 hours of additional content in 2025.
