Motorola Edge 40 Pro comes as a flagship phone
The new Edge 40 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which has a 1x 3.19GHz ARM Cortex-X3, 2x 2.8GHz ARM Cortex-A715, 2x 2.8GHz ARM Cortex-A710, and 3x 2.0GHz ARM Cortex-A510 CPU cores, and Adreno 740 GPU that supports Ray Tracing technology. Additionally, it has 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
On the display side, the phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. While it has a 1080p resolution and 2.5D curved sides, its front and back are protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus. Also, there is an under-display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of camera, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a 50-megapixel main, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 12-megapixel 2x telephoto lens on the back, and it has a 60-megapixel selfie camera which is mounted inside a punch hole on the front. The device has a 4,600mAh battery with 125W superfast charging,15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging support.
The new Edge 40 Pro will be available in Europe and Latin America in Blue or Black color options. The company is expected to announce the release date, availability, and pricing in the coming days. The phone will cost €899.99 in Europe.
