Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC

The long-awaited foldable phone comes with the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC as its predecessor, last year’s Razr model. The chipset is a 4nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 730 GPU. Additionally, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage options. On the other side, its display sizes are the most significant features of the new phone.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra features a large 6.9-inch FHD+ inner foldable LTPO pOLED screen with up to 165Hz refresh rate, while it has a 3.6-inch FHD+ outer pOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate. The phone offers personalization options to change the display layout, fonts, colors, theme, and even size. Moreover, you can control some apps on the outer display, including a music player, maps, and more.

In terms of camera, it comes with a 12-megapixel main camera with f/1.5 aperture, OIS, 13-megapixel ultra-wide autofocus camera, and 2.5cm macro option with f/2.2 aperture on the back, while it features a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture. The Razr 40 Ultra has a 3,800mAh battery with 33W TurboPower fast charging and 5W wireless charging support.

The latest foldable phone is available in Infinite Black, Glacier Blue, and Viva Magenta color options, and it will be on sale on June 5 in China. Motorola Razr 40 Ultra costs 5699 yuan (US$ 801 / Rs. 66,080 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB version, and 6499 yuan (US$ 913 / Rs. 75,300 approx.) for the 12GB + 512GB model.
