TaleWorlds has released a new gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – War Sails expansion. This major content pack brings comprehensive naval combat to the Bannerlord universe for the first time. The expansion launches simultaneously on all platforms on November 26, 2025. The newly released gameplay trailer is eight and a half minutes long. This footage shows a nighttime river battle between the Nord faction and the Khuzait.
Shiftdelete.netWar Sails allows players to build 20 different ships on the expanded Calradia map. Fifteen of these ships are warships, four are merchant ships, and one is a civilian fishing boat.
All ship models are inspired by historical examples from the Middle Ages. Players embark on a naval campaign with these ships, battling harsh weather conditions and strategically positioning themselves against enemy fleets.
A comprehensive free update is also being released on the same day for players who haven’t purchased the expansion. This free update completely revamps the mission atmosphere, improves spear handling, updates melee and ranged combat mechanics, and rebalances cavalry units. The game’s modding tools are also expanded with this update.
