MSI announced its new generation monitor MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 model developed for gamers at the Computex 2025 fair. The model, which has a QD-OLED panel, can track user movements in real time with its integrated AI-supported camera system.
MSI announced its monitor with an AI camera
The MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 draws attention with the camera system called AI Care Sensor, which MSI placed at the bottom of the screen. The camera analyzes the user five times per second by viewing the user every 0.2 seconds.

Thus, the system, which understands whether there is a person in front of the monitor, reduces the screen brightness or automatically puts the screen into sleep mode when necessary. This technology offers a solution to the problem of screen burn-in, which can occur due to long-term high brightness, especially on QD-OLED screens.
AI Care Sensor is supported by an AI engine working via the Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Although the system tracks the user, the photos taken are not saved to the device or transferred to the cloud in any way. Users can also disable this system completely if they wish.
The monitor also comes with important certifications such as a 27-inch QD-OLED panel, VESA ClearMR 21000 and DisplayHDR True Black 500. The refresh rate of the panel can go up to 500 Hz. MSI announced the response time of the monitor as 0.03 ms GTG.
The recommended retail price of the MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 was announced as $899. The device will be available worldwide as of July 17, 2025. So what do you think about this product? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
