MSI 2024 Pro DP21 Mini PC Launch! Features Overview
The MSI Pro DP21 series is remarkably compact, measuring just 204 x 208 x 54.8 mm and weighing 1.52 kg. These mini computers are small enough not to clutter your desk but deliver big when it comes to performance. Plus, with VESA mount support, you can hang them on a wall or hide them behind your monitor.
MSI has equipped this mini PC with Intel’s latest 14th-generation Core processors. Options include the 20-core, 28-thread Core i7-14700 and the 14-core, 20-thread Core i5-14500 models. This hardware ensures the mini PC can easily handle any workload requiring processing power.
In terms of memory and storage, MSI offers flexibility. The Pro DP21 supports up to 64GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM, providing fast and powerful performance. Additionally, it features a PCIe M.2 SSD slot, and you can expand storage with two 2.5-inch hard drives.
MSI has included both modern and traditional connectivity options in the Pro DP21 series. The device features Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 technologies. On the front, you’ll find one USB-C 5Gbps, one USB-A 5Gbps, two USB-A 2.0 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The back includes one USB-C 10Gbps, three USB-A 10Gbps, one HDMI 2.1, one DP1.4, and notably, a COM port.
The COM port, traditionally used for connecting modems, old printers, and various other devices, is still important today for industrial and business sectors where compatibility with older technology is essential. MSI has included this nostalgic touch with business users in mind.
