A new artificial intelligence platform has been launched in collaboration with Microsoft and NASA.The data collected by NASA over the years has been combined with the Copilot model. Accordingly, a wide audience, from scientists to students, will be able to ask space-related questions from Earth Copilot.
A new revolution from Microsoft and NASA with Earth Copilot
Microsoft and NASA introduced Earth Copilot, a new AI-powered tool. Developed on the Azure OpenAI Service, this platform aims to make sense of the data NASA collects from space and make this information meaningful.
Data from space is an area that requires expertise with its complex structure and ever-increasing volume. This is where the Earth Copilot model will come into play. Users will be able to find answers from this information using artificial intelligence. It is expected to appeal to a wide range of users, from scientists to students.
Microsoft Vice President of Health and Public Sector Industries Tyler Bryson spoke about the new model. Accordingly, he emphasized that many different data can be analyzed, from atmospheric conditions to land use changes, from ocean temperatures. He said that users can ask questions about space without having to deal with technical interfaces and data formats.
Juan Carlos López, former NASA engineer and Microsoft Azure Expert, said the system is designed to handle complex queries and large data sets. Thus, he said, users will be able to access the information they need without getting bogged down in technical details.
