Netflix has added to its strategy of increasing the number of Turkish-made series and films, sharing the first trailer for the upcoming series Enfes Bir Akşam.

Previously announced as Old Money, the series will hit the platform on October 10th. As the release date approaches, Netflix has stepped up its promotional efforts and released the highly anticipated trailer.

Enfes Bir Akşam, starring Engin Akyürek and Aslı Enver, will join Netflix’s Turkish productions in October. The script was written by Meriç Acemi and directed by Uluç Bayraktar. The project, produced by TIMS & B Productions, is produced by Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar.

The series follows the love affair between Osman, a tough and wealthy character who rose from nothing, and Nihal, a representative of a wealthy maritime family and a master of diplomacy, under the shadow of money and power.

In addition to the lead actors, the cast includes Dolunay Soysert, İsmail Demirci, Serkan Altunorak, Taro Emir Tekin, Selin Şekerci, Sedef Avcı, Zeynep Oymak, Armağan Oğuz, and Ahmet Utlu.

Netflix shared the following trailer for the series: “The one who can change the game wins. On one hand, Osman, who came from scratch and became quite wealthy and successful with very strong and powerful moves… On the other, Nihal, a master of diplomacy and representative of a wealthy and maritime family for generations… This story is about the battle between old money and new money, the clash of power and reason, and the love of two fierce characters.”
