Netflix Turkey increased its subscription fees for the second time this year. The popular digital broadcasting platform had previously made a significant price increase in the first months of the year. Now, subscription fees have been updated again with an increase of around 30%. With this increase, we have listed the old and new prices below.

New increase in Netflix subscription fees

Netflix has a large user base in Turkey as well as around the world. However, the fact that it increased subscription fees twice this year drew reaction from users. Following the increase at the beginning of the year, subscription fees increased by 30% with a new wave of increases.

The old prices of the three different subscription options offered as Basic Plan, Standard Plan and Special Plan were 119.99 TL, 176.99 TL and 229.99 TL per month, respectively.

Here are the new Netflix subscription prices:

• Basic Plan: 149.99 TL per month

• Standard Plan: 229.99 TL per month

• Special Plan: 299.99 TL per month

These increase rates show that Netflix subscription fees have increased by around 300% in the last two years. In other words, Netflix users will have to pay a considerably higher price compared to previous years to access the platform’s content.

The new increased prices will be effective immediately for new subscribers to the platform. Existing subscribers will be informed about the price increase within 30 days, and at the end of this period, the new prices will become valid for all users.
