Microsoft has introduced new artificial intelligence features developed for Copilot+ PCs with Windows 11 operating system. The updates, announced on the company’s official blog, will be available to users in the coming months.
New artificial intelligence features introduced for Copilot+ PCs
First, Windows 11’s settings menu becomes more user-friendly with an artificial intelligence-supported assistant. Thanks to the new system, users will be able to directly intervene in the settings by giving natural language commands such as “increase my mouse sensitivity” or “text is too small”.

Important innovations are also coming in the field of visual editing. Windows’ Photos application is being updated with dynamic lighting tools specifically for Copilot+ devices. Thus, users will be able to control three different light sources and make detailed light adjustments on photos.
The Snipping Tool will now be able to perform more precise cropping operations. Thanks to the text recognition function added to the same tool, users can easily extract text on screenshots or photos. In addition, the RGB color code of any pixel can be directly copied with the color picker tool.
File Explorer is also being redesigned with artificial intelligence support. Users will now be able to directly start operations such as content summarization or visual editing by right-clicking on the file type. Artificial intelligence will provide more advanced analysis and suggestions, especially on media files.
