The development process for new productions in the Batman universe directed by Matt Reeves has begun. The Penguin series producer Lauren LeFranc confirmed in an interview that the projects are still in the early stages. New Batman movies to be shot
The details of the new projects are not yet clear. However, considering that the release date of The Batman sequel is still more than two years away, another series may be presented to the audience during this period. It has been confirmed that new Batman movies will be shot in the coming period.

On the other hand, no definite decision has been made regarding the continuation of The Penguin series, the first season of which will be released soon. LeFranc stated that the series was designed as a limited series from beginning to end. Stating that there is no clear plan for a sequel season, LeFranc emphasized that the possibility of a second season depends on the depth of the new story.
Prepared for Warner Bros. Discovery’s digital platform Max, The Penguin focuses on the Oswald Cobblepot character played by Colin Farrell in The Batman movie. The series tells the story of how the balance of power is shaped in the criminal world of Gotham and is the first spin-off set in the dark universe created by Reeves.
