According to information revealed in the newly released Android beta version of WhatsApp, 2.24.14.18, WhatsApp will update its verification system in line with Meta’s blue tick. The new feature is expected to be rolled out to all iOS and Android users in about a month.
This update marks Meta’s effort to standardize verification badges across its platforms. In this sense, on Instagram, Meta and WhatsApp, all verified accounts will be represented by the same blue tick.
