Fly BVLOS Technology is starting domestic 30-layer chip production in Ankara’s Gölbaşı district. The company, which has strengthened its infrastructure in this field by transferring high technology from Taiwan, continues to prepare for mass production in cooperation with Turkish and Taiwanese engineers. The production line, which will be completed shortly, will form the basis of advanced technological products such as network devices and mission computers.
30-layer chip production starts in Turkey!
These domestic chips will be used in mission computers developed by Fly BVLOS Technology. The company announced that these mission computers are faster and have more advanced features than existing systems.
The chips to be produced will be used in many different areas, including unmanned aerial vehicles and other defense industry products. This step will be an important step towards reducing Turkey’s foreign dependence in the defense and technology sectors.
The production process will take place in three stages. In the first stage, an assembly line will be established and production will be made with an annual capacity of 144,000. Thanks to the cooperation with Ostim Technical University, a PCB laboratory will be established and qualified human resources will be provided to the sector.
In the second phase, PCB production facilities will be commissioned and the production of domestic motherboards will start and the production capacity will be doubled. In the final phase, the laboratory will be put into operation to produce 5,000 chips per month with 3 nanometer technology.
The high technology used in this project and the million-dollar foreign investments will contribute to Turkey’s strong position in the international arena in the field of technology. More information and details about Fly BVLOS Technology’s domestic chip production will be shared with the public in the coming days.
