NVIDIA’s DLSS technology, introduced in 2019, continues to make waves in the gaming industry. By generating an image that resembles a higher-resolution one from a lower-resolution source, this technology delivers higher frame rates. The number of games getting DLSS is steadily increasing, and new titles with DLSS have just been announced.
New Games with DLSS Support
Although NVIDIA announced DLSS 4 at CES 2025, earlier versions of DLSS are still being released for many games. With a new update, the following games have gained DLSS Super Resolution (2.0), Frame Generation (3.0), and DLAA support:
- Tankhead: Available on the Epic Games Store, this game supports DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation.
- SMITE 2: Developed with Unreal Engine 5, this MOBA game has entered open beta and now features DLSS Super Resolution, DLAA, and Reflex support.
- Honkai: Star Rail: With its 3.0 update, DLSS Super Resolution support has been added, along with the introduction of a new world called Amphoreus.
- Assetto Corsa EVO: Launching in early access on January 16, this simulation game features dynamic weather, advanced lighting, and DLSS Super Resolution support.
- Dynasty Warriors: Origins: Releasing on January 17, this game includes DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation features.
DLSS 3.5 Highlights
Ray Reconstruction replaces traditional denoisers, which manually resolve sampled rays in a scene, with an AI-powered network trained on NVIDIA’s supercomputers. This network produces higher-quality pixels between sampled rays.
Trained with five times more data than DLSS 3, DLSS 3.5 makes smarter decisions about using temporal and spatial data, recognizes different ray-tracing effects, preserves high-frequency details, and delivers superior quality.
