According to the report, GTA 6 development began in 2014 with a budget of 2 billion dollars. It is scheduled for release in the fall of 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the PC version coming later. In this context, the plan to postpone it to 2026 is still being considered.
The open world map of the game will be about 2 times the size of GTA 5. Accordingly, it will feature three major cities inspired by tourist destinations such as Miami, Cuba and the Bahamas. There are also expected to be four smaller cities in the game.
There will be buildings and places to explore, such as golf clubs, casinos and theme parks. The game will feature a dynamic weather system and much improved water physics. Side characters will have their own lives and will be able to make real-time decisions.
The main protagonists, Jason and Lucia, will have a dynamic relationship that affects the gameplay. Heists, drug smuggling and water activities will be the main focus.
