Mercedes-Benz has begun the countdown for its ambitious model in the compact SUV segment. The company has released the first official teaser images of the new Mercedes GLB, which will be unveiled on December 8th. The vehicle features a complete technological overhaul while maintaining its seven-passenger seating capacity.
What does the new Mercedes GLB offer in its cabin?
According to shared details, the new GLB features a technology-focused cabin. The most striking innovation is the optional MBUX Superscreen system, which combines three screens: a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch central display, and a 14-inch passenger display.

The new model will use Mercedes-Benz’s latest operating system. The AI-powered MBUX Virtual Assistant and Google Maps-based navigation will also be part of this system. The cabin also features circular air vents, a new steering wheel design, and a wireless charging area.
Mercedes has also made improvements to the interior. Headroom is increased in the first two rows, while the second row offers more legroom. Additionally, the next-generation GLB will also feature an all-electric EQ version. This version is expected to come with an 85 kWh battery and produce 349 hp in the dual-motor version.
The standard panoramic glass roof also features an interesting feature. It can transition from transparent to opaque in seconds, creating a “starry sky” effect. On the safety front, a comprehensive assistance package will be available, including eight cameras, five radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
