Chinese technology giant Xiaomi is preparing to come up with a new performance monster phone model very soon. According to allegations, the company has started working on a new high-end phone powered by the high-performance Dimensity 9400 chipset developed by MediaTek. The company, which has generally preferred Snapdragon chips in its flagship devices so far, has attracted attention with the latest claims.
Dimensity 9400 may be included in Xiaomi’s new Civi series model
According to a reliable source called Smart Pikachu, the Dimensity 9400 chipset performed very well in tests conducted by Xiaomi. According to predictions, this high-performance chip may appear in one of the new members of the company’s Civi series phone family. On the other hand, it is also suggested that the device in question will be announced earlier than expected.
The flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset will feature TSMC’s most advanced 3 nm lithography. It is reported that the processor, which will perform 30 percent higher than its predecessor Dimensity 9300 chip, will be at similar levels with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. However, it is stated that this chip will perform better than Apple A17 Pro in multi-core.
The high-end chipset developed by MediaTek can adopt the Cortex-X925 core developed jointly with ARM in its architecture. In this way, the processor will allow a 30 percent increase in performance. On the other hand, the processor will have advantages such as better energy efficiency and LPDDR5x memory with 10.7 Gbps.
It is worth noting that the Dimensity 9400 chip has not yet been officially announced. Probably Xiaomi’s new device belonging to the Civi series smartphone family will be released with this processor. In other words, the highly anticipated product is expected to hit the shelves in the last quarter of the year.
