Microsoft has once again surprised Windows 10 users and introduced new features with the KB5045594 update. As we know, Windows 10 will lose support in 2025, but somehow, we see that Microsoft is still bringing innovations to Windows 10. In fact, some of the features inspired by Windows 11 have started to be offered to Windows 10 users with this update.
With the latest Windows 10 update, Microsoft has introduced some features from Windows 11
The first of the new features is the “copy file” button. This button is now available in the file sharing menu, making it easier to copy files. The second important new feature is a preview of the file’s icon and size in the same menu.
These features are turned off by default, but are expected to be enabled later in the update. By the way, the new Windows 10 update is not limited to these small functional improvements. The “System > Information” page has also been revamped.
This page, too, provides faster access to hardware information and answers frequently asked questions about device performance. A new account manager menu has also been added to Windows 10. This is especially useful for those who work with multiple user accounts.
Even though Microsoft is recommending Windows 11, two thirds of Windows users worldwide still use Windows 10. Therefore, it is important for Microsoft to keep Windows 10 modern and functional.
