Developed by the Turkish game studio Motion Blur, Black State has attracted significant attention with its first gameplay video released a few weeks ago. Now, a brand-new gameplay video has been published, and it looks like the game will leave everyone stunned with its graphics upon release. Here’s the video and new details…
Bullet Time in Black State will draw attention!
The Turkish-made game Black State, which previously showcased Metal Gear Solid vibes and magnificently reflected Nvidia’s RTX technology, continues to shine with its new video. However, it seems that the game might appeal more to fans of Remedy’s titles like Control and Quantum Theory rather than MGS.
The developer of Black State, Motion Blur, sent a 20-minute demo of the game to IGN, allowing an 8-minute version to be shared as a video.
As you can see from the video, the game fully takes advantage of Unreal Engine 5’s capabilities in terms of graphics, textures, reflections, and animations. Moreover, according to the IGN editor, the game’s optimization is excellent, with the frame rate rarely dropping below 60 FPS on a PC equipped with an RTX 4080.
In the video, we also experience the game’s unique portals, which seamlessly connect different environments. We transition from a ship in the middle of the ocean to a museum without any loading time. Producer Ömer Faruk Güngör stated that the story of the game is inspired by Inception.
The game already looks incredible, and it seems that the developers made a great choice by highlighting the “Bullet Time” mode—something that was popular in titles like Max Payne, Bulletstorm, The Matrix, and F.E.A.R., but hasn’t been seen in games for a while.
