Microsoft has released a new update for Windows 11 Insider users. Version 26100.3321 brings several improvements, including updates to the battery indicator and File Explorer, along with fixes for annoying bugs. So, what has changed in this update? Here are the details:
New Battery Indicator and Taskbar Improvements
With the new battery icon in Windows 11, it’s now much easier to understand your battery status. The icon will show in green while charging, yellow when in power-saving mode, and red when the battery is low.

Additionally, there is an important update to the taskbar. Now, you can right-click any app and directly share files from the “jump list” menu that appears.
It’s now easier to get more information about the images in the desktop background through Windows Spotlight. You can hover your mouse over the background or click the newly added information icon for more details. The Spotlight icon and background have also been made more visually appealing.
A new option has been added to File Explorer to either turn off or postpone the “Start Backup” reminder. Also, folders containing large media files open faster, and several visual errors have been resolved.
This update addresses several bugs, such as the sound suddenly jumping to 100% after sleep mode and issues with certain USB audio devices stopping working. Additionally, a problem with mouse settings has been fixed, where the mouse color would revert to default white when changed.
Microsoft also resolved display issues for Remote Desktop users and fixed freezing problems during connections. Connection issues caused by the OpenSSH service not starting have also been addressed.
With these updates, Windows 11 becomes more stable and user-friendly. What do you think about these changes? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below!
