Nickelodeon is bringing back a slice of ‘90s gaming with the Nickelodeon Splat Pack, a new retro collection developed in partnership with Limited Run Games. The bundle pulls together several fan-favorite titles from the SNES and Sega Genesis era, giving both nostalgic fans and new players a fresh way to experience these quirky classics.
Nickelodeon Splat Pack brings back three classics

The compilation includes three Nickelodeon games from the mid-1990s:
- Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (1995) – available in both Genesis and SNES versions
- Nickelodeon G.U.T.S. (1994) – originally on SNES
- Rocko’s Modern Life: Spunky’s Dangerous Day (1994) – originally on SNES
Each game has been updated with modern conveniences, such as rewind functionality and the ability to save or load progress at any time. These features should make the retro titles more accessible while preserving their original charm.
Multiple editions confirmed for release
In true Limited Run fashion, the Nickelodeon Splat Pack is getting several physical editions:
- Standard Edition – $34.99
- Classic Edition – $69.99
- Collector’s Edition – $129.99
Pre-orders run from September 19, 2025, through October 19, 2025, giving fans a full month to secure their copy.
Nickelodeon Splat Pack expands its gaming presence
This collection comes during a busy time for Nickelodeon in gaming. The company recently announced new SpongeBob projects and even a collaboration with Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog. With the Nickelodeon Splat Pack, the publisher is not just looking forward but also celebrating its retro gaming past.
Retro fun returns with a modern twist
By mixing SNES and Genesis nostalgia with today’s quality-of-life features, the Nickelodeon Splat Pack makes sure these cult classics stay playable for a new audience. It’s a package designed for both collectors and fans who just want to relive some messy, chaotic fun.
