The company is putting most of its developers on the new The Witcher game, codenamed Polaris. However, it is known that the company will not release the highly anticipated fourth The Witcher game anytime soon.
CD Projekt Red actually announced that it halted development on Cyberpunk 2077 after releasing its first expansion, Phantom Liberty, in September 2023. Phantom Liberty came after the 2.0 update, which brought features such as a new skill system to the game and changed the dynamics of the game.
