HMD Skyline G2 leaked
HMD Global wants to revitalize the Nokia Lumia series with the Skyline family. Recent leaks have revealed that the company is working on a new model, dubbed the Skyline G2. While it is still in development, its key features have been revealed.
The Skyline G2 will reportedly feature a triple rear camera setup. It is also rumored to feature a quad camera configuration with a 200 Megapixel main sensor. Additional lenses will include telephoto, ultra-wide and a ToF sensor.
There will also be some changes on the design side compared to the Skyline G1. While the first device had thin bezels, the G2 is rumored to have thicker bezels on both the top and bottom. This suggests it will follow Lumia lines compared to modern flagship trends.
Beyond camera details and design, details on the Skyline G2’s release date are unclear for now. Since the first Skyline hasn’t been released yet, it’s safe to say that the G2 is still in development.
Codenamed Skyline, the smartphone will feature a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and HDR10+ support. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset and will be available with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB storage configurations.
