The model number of Nothing Phone (2) has been revealed!
Today, with the publication of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification list, the model number of the Nothing Phone (2) “Nothing AIN065” has emerged. The emergence of this model number also indicates that a launch in the Indian market is imminent. Although the release date of the phone is not known for certain, estimates indicate it will be in the Q2 or Q3 range.
There are not many details in the list, but it is expected that Nothing will offer significantly more features than the first generation Phone (1). The chip set has not yet been approved, but it has been announced that Phone (2) will be released with the Snapdragon 8 series chip set. Later, a Qualcomm official confirmed that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip set, which is more advanced than the chip used in the first generation Phone (1), will be used.
While Phone (1) was positioned as a mid-range phone, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip set and other superior hardware will provide better performance on Phone (2). Other rumors include 12GB of RAM, a 120Hz screen refresh rate, a larger battery capacity, and storage space, but these rumors have not yet been confirmed. Therefore, it is expected that Carl Pei and his team will reveal what they have in store for us in the coming weeks and months.
