Initially attracting attention in the Android market with its design and later solidifying its position with flagship features, Nothing introduced the more budget-friendly Phone (2a) model in 2024 instead of a new flagship. Now, the company plans to launch the Nothing Phone (3) in 2025. According to an email reportedly sent by CEO Carl Pei, the Phone (3) will serve as a pioneer for the company’s artificial intelligence platform. Here are the details.
Nothing Phone (3) to Launch in 2025
After skipping 2024 for flagship releases, Nothing had already announced plans to unveil a new flagship in 2025. According to recently revealed information, Carl Pei describes this as the “year of innovation” for Nothing and is preparing to launch the Phone (3). Although no official statement has been made yet, leaks suggest that the device will be fully AI-focused.
In an email reportedly sent to a Nothing employee, Carl Pei stated that the Phone (3) will be launched this year and will bring groundbreaking innovations to the user interface, taking the first step toward an AI-powered platform.
“This year, we will launch our flagship, the Nothing Phone (3). It will deliver groundbreaking innovations in the user interface and mark our first step toward an AI-powered platform. We aim to redefine the user experience for personal computing devices: creating technology that knows you, simplifies your life, and meets you where you are. Technology that helps us reach our greatest creative potential.”
The exact launch date for the device in 2025 is still unknown, and it’s unclear whether another device will also be introduced alongside it.
