This certification, granted on January 22, 2026, shows that the device has passed one of the necessary legal hurdles for its official sale. Although the document simply refers to the device as a “smartphone,” this model number has previously appeared in IMEI databases, strengthening the belief that A069 is indeed the Nothing Phone (4a).
Typically, such certification processes are completed a few months before a product’s launch. Therefore, tech analysts predict that the Nothing Phone (4a) will be unveiled in the first quarter of 2026, possibly by March.
