Innovative smartphone manufacturer Nothing has introduced its new tool, Playground, which allows users to develop their own mini-apps without requiring any technical knowledge. This AI-powered tool allows users to develop functional apps by simply entering text prompts consisting of a few words, eliminating the need to write hundreds of lines of code.

Nothing’s Playground tool currently focuses on creating simple widgets. The tool also allows users to fully customize existing apps.

Among the existing apps under Essential Apps are flight reminders, setting daily water goals, dice rolling, a calculator, and simple games like Flappy Bird.

Users can customize these apps without any technical knowledge. However, those with some coding knowledge can also transform the apps into completely different structures by modifying the code.

The company previously introduced the AI-powered Essential Space app with the Nothing Phone (3a) series smartphones. This app brings all the productivity-enhancing features to a single location, providing users with significant convenience.

Nothing is currently not charging any fees for its AI tools, such as Playground and Essential Space. Nothing has prioritized building a community that engages with its new tools.
