Nothing recently officially announced CMF, a brand that will produce affordable smartphones and accessories. Now it has been revealed that the new sub-brand is working on two models. One of them will be a smartwatch and the other will be TWS earbuds. The accessories are expected to be released in India first.
CMF by Nothing certified as a smartwatch and TWS earbuds
Nothing is preparing to expand its product portfolio with its new sub-brand. According to the latest news, it will launch a smartwatch and a headset under the name CMF before the end of this year.
These devices, which are expected to be introduced in the coming months, have already received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The CMF smartwatch carries the model number D395, while the wireless headphones are registered with the model number B163.
The technical specifications and designs of these products are still unclear. However, the BIS certification indicates that India will be among the first markets to get CMF-branded devices. It is also unknown whether the products will be available in other markets. However, Nothing sells Phone 1 and Phone 2 in multiple markets.
Nothing CEO Carl Pei announced last week the company’s plans to launch CMF as a new sub-brand. In a press release, Pei said CMF will focus on making “more accessible products for a wider range of users.”
Nothing has managed to create a stir in the tech world with the unique transparent design of its first two smartphones. So it remains to be seen what the company’s design and engineering team will deliver with the CMF smartwatch and headphones. Let us also remind you that Nothing has a line of headphones called Ear.
