Nvidia has released its new WHQL-signed 576.28 graphics driver for GeForce graphics cards. This update focuses on technical glitches on RTX 50 series cards and stability issues in some popular games.
GeForce 576.28 driver released
576.28 stands out as a comprehensive fix package following the previous 576.02 version. According to Nvidia’s statement, the update will fix problems such as sudden crashes, screen freezing, light flashes and texture corruption in games such as Black Myth: Wukong, Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Resident Evil 4 Remake and Forza Horizon 5.

In addition, errors in the shader process and image corruption experienced with the DisplayPort 2.1 connection have been resolved with the update. Issues such as low GPU clock speeds detected on RTX 50 series graphics cards, system crashes when switching to render mode, and temperature values not being displayed after sleep mode have also been addressed in this version.
However, the crash that occurred when taking screenshots in Cyberpunk 2077’s photo mode, the glare caused by light sources in Ghost of Tsushima, and the stability issues observed in Monster Hunter Wilds are still ongoing. The company announced that they are working on these issues as well.
The new GeForce 576.28 driver can be downloaded from the Nvidia app or the official website. So what do you think about this issue? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
