Nvidia has released Game Ready version 580.97 WHQL for GeForce graphics cards. The new version adds DLSS 4 MFG support, particularly for two major titles: Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced Edition and Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Edition. This improves frame rate and provides a smoother visual experience in these games.
GeForce 580.97 Driver Released
The 580.97 driver release not only introduces gaming-focused improvements but also addresses hardware issues long reported by some users. For users of Samsung’s 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 monitors, the screen flickering and image streaming issues seen when the desktop is left idle have been eliminated.

This update also addresses the screen blackout issue that occurred on some laptops when an external HDR monitor is used in “Nvidia GPU Only” mode.
Nvidia also states that the 580.97 version does not include any NVIDIA app updates or additional bug fixes. Therefore, this update does not require a mandatory upgrade for users who do not play Hellblade II Enhanced or GTA V Enhanced.
The driver still has some vulnerabilities that need to be addressed. It’s been reported that taking screenshots in photo mode with ray tracing enabled in Cyberpunk 2077 may cause the game to crash. Lowering the screen resolution in Counter-Strike 2 can cause text corruption. Additionally, Adobe Premiere Pro users are experiencing freezing issues during hardware encoding and exporting on some systems.
The new driver can be downloaded from Nvidia’s official website or through the Nvidia app. Users who wish to download via the app can simply go to the “Drivers” section in the left menu and start the installation.
