NVIDIA might be preparing a surprise very soon. According to leaked information, the RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 will be released much earlier than previous generations. Normally, it would take a long time for NVIDIA to introduce new graphics cards, but this time things have been accelerated. Here are the details
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 could arrive much earlier than their counterparts
According to the latest information, NVIDIA is expected to unveil its next-generation RTX 50 series cards at CES 2025, with most models of the series rumored to be available by March 2025. Furthermore, NVIDIA will first unveil the RTX 5080 and the RTX 5090D, a model exclusively for the Chinese market.
After these two models, the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 cards, which are expected to be of particular interest to gamers, will be released next month. The more affordable RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti models are scheduled to be announced in March 2025.
However, it’s not clear when exactly these cards will go on sale, probably a few weeks after the launch. Interestingly, NVIDIA’s most powerful card in the high-end segment, the RTX 5090, has yet to receive a clear release date.
This card boasts impressive specs like 32 GB of VRAM and 600 watts of power consumption, but NVIDIA is in no rush to release this model. One reason for this could be that AMD and Intel don’t currently have cards powerful enough to offer a competitor at this level.
