Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will continue with a surprise. The new film will meet the audience as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2 and the famous director David Fincher will sit in the director’s chair.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2 will officially be released
Previous news about this project had revealed that Fincher would be working with Brad Pitt again to make a Netflix film. However, the announcement that this film would be a sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood surprised everyone.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2 will take place after the first film and will focus on the character Cliff Booth, played by Brad Pitt. The first film told the story of Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stuntman Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), who were trying to make a career in Hollywood in 1969. It is stated that Rick Dalton will also make a short appearance in the sequel and that negotiations with Leonardo DiCaprio are ongoing.
The fact that the film is directed by David Fincher does not mean that Tarantino is not involved in the project. Tarantino will be involved in the project as the name that wrote the script for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2. Tarantino’s announcement that he will retire after making one last film indicates that this project will be one of his last contributions to cinema.
Since Fincher has worked closely with Netflix in recent years, it was announced that this new project will also be produced under the Netflix umbrella. Fincher had previously collaborated with Netflix on a production about Hollywood, such as Mank.
