Balatro is Coming to Mobile
If you haven’t heard of it yet, Balatro is a poker-themed roguelike game. The combination of these two themes might sound strange at first, but the gameplay is highly enjoyable. You don’t need to be a professional poker player, as illegal card combinations and sneaky moves also work in the game.
The countdown for Balatro’s mobile version has begun. The game will be released for both Apple and Android devices by the end of this month. It will be available on the App Store and Google Play Store on September 26, and can also be accessed with Apple Arcade subscriptions.
Apple is adding new games to Apple Arcade in October, including NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition, Food Truck Pup+, and more.
Balatro has already sold millions of copies across various platforms, including the Switch. Therefore, publisher Playstack and the game’s sole developer, Localthunk, aim to reach an even broader audience.
