Ever since Samsung opened the One UI 7.0 beta program for its Galaxy S24 smartphones, hundreds of other device users have been wondering when the new software will arrive on their devices. Emerging claims suggest that the stable version should arrive sooner than we thought.
According to FamilyTaes, known for other leaks about Samsung phones, Samsung has no plans to release One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S23, S22 and S21. Likewise, the Galaxy A series will not be included in this plan. But the company’s two popular phone series will soon get a new update. Here are the details
One UI 7.0 update will reach the “S” series before March
The company will use its route for the new update to first focus on the launch of the new software for the Galaxy S25 series. At this point, the new update is expected to roll out in a few weeks.
But even though the devices aren’t on the beta list for the new One UI, Samsung could release the update stable for all eligible Galaxy S series smartphones before next March.
Allegedly, the South Korean company will release the stable version of One UI 7.0 software for devices on the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22, including the FE models. In February, the Galaxy S21 and the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th generation models of the Galaxy Z Fold & Flip series will receive the new update.
During the developer event SDC 2024 last October, Samsung announced that it would release the stable version of One UI 7 in the first quarter of next year. It looks like the company will keep its word and release the new update worldwide in the first few months.
