The Galaxy S25, which was announced last month, has been released with many new and impressive features, also with the help of Samsung’s new interface One UI 7 update. The new update is eagerly awaited by the brand’s audience due to the improvements it will bring.
However, some features found in Samsung’s new generation devices are expected to be unavailable in older devices. The new version of One UI will unfortunately not bring all the functions found in the Samsung Galaxy S25 series to other models. Older models in particular will face many restrictions.
One UI 7 will not bring all the features in the Galaxy S25 to older models
Although a similar interface is used, some features found in the South Korean company’s new smartphone series are expected to remain exclusive to this series. This important information was shared by Tarun Vats from the X account.

Tarun Vats stated that the Galaxy S25’s 10-bit HLG video recording feature, as well as the natural language support in the search feature in the phone’s Gallery app, will not be available on older Galaxy S series devices, even if they receive One UI 7.
In other words, you will not be able to benefit from the features in the Camera Assistant of the old Samsung Galaxy S23, and you will not be able to select the HLG format in the camera app.
As for the natural language part for searches in the Gallery app, it is possible to use the feature through the One UI 7 beta. However, according to the information revealed by the source, this situation may change with the release of the stable version of the new interface based on Android 15.
