After Samsung announced that it would start rolling out the One UI 7 update on April 7th, attention turned to which models would first receive the next One UI 8 update. Recent reports clear up the questions about this matter.
Which Models Will Get the One UI 8 Update First?
It has been revealed that Samsung’s One UI 8 update will first be used on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 models. Usually introduced with the Galaxy S series each year, the new One UI versions will face users with a different strategy this year.

As known, the company previously released One UI 7 with Galaxy S25, One UI 6 with S23, and One UI 5 with S22 series. In short, the South Korean manufacturer, which has generally offered interface updates with the flagship Galaxy S series until now, will focus on its foldable phones for the first time this year with a change.
