A post by OnePlus employee Cai Zuxuan claimed that this processor outperforms Apple’s next-generation A18 Pro chip in terms of energy efficiency. According to the statement, which is based on OnePlus’ internal data, Qualcomm is said to be one of the best not only in terms of performance but also efficiency.

So, we will be facing a device that consumes less energy but offers higher performance. According to Zuxuan’s statements, the customized chipset will put OnePlus 13 one step ahead of its competitors. While Apple’s A18 Pro chipset has been known as the leader in energy efficiency, this new Snapdragon variant could change the balance.

Moreover, another version of the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, dubbed the “public version”, is said to offer a lower performance. So, the OnePlus 13’s customized chip will offer higher efficiency and performance.
